Seems like none of the Authentication providers for Active Directory gets tested with new releases of DNN????
I've now tried to get both the free and Glantons paid provider to work with DNN 7.4.0 - non of them currently working.
Currently reverting my new portal to an old DNN version - and I drop the upgrade of our other portals until these problems are fixed (seems like there are some fixes scheduled for 7.4.2 - months ahead ;()

If you want Active Directory Authentication - stay away from DNN 7.4 (and probably go for 7.3.1?)
