I make C# module and open it with Visual  Studio 2010 , but when i would like to use GridView with SQL Connection String , get error in webpage:

 

Have the connectionstring in web.config file...

Post a sample (remove the username/pwd) of your web.config connectionstrings section , sounds like you either don't have it properly defined, or don't have it in the proper location.

 I make new SQL Datasource, because the error it's same (northwindConnectionString) and i add to the Gridview Datasource. Unfortunately , the data will not appear in module...

Is your DNN database on a different server than your northwinds database?

if your module DB resides on a different (virtual) machine, the SQL Server Needs to be configured for remote Access and Support TCP/IP protocol
