Hello,

I'am pretty new to Dotnetnuke, played with it a bit a year ago.. and now i'am again trying to get it running but I have a bit of a problem with rendering HTML in an Anounchment control ?

You can check:
http://www.ste-do-co.nl

It's a 'dutch' site but the thing thats 'bugging' me is that in the announchment (at the top of the page with the dutch title 'Aankondigingen' isn't rendering page breaks / markup language codes and such.

Does anybody have a clue why this is ? I can't find a setting or anything about this problem ?

Thanks in advancefor tying help me out already !

If you are using "Basic Text Box" for text editing then you need to type html-tags like "<br>", "<img>" for formatting.

In "Rich Text Editor" mode you can edit text in 2 ways:

1 - design mode. Just apply formatting to the text using toolbar. You don't need to type html-tags.

2 - html-mode (like "Basic Text Box"). Here you have to type html-code.

First of all thank you for taking the time to help me out !

BUT.. the problem is not fixxed yet, I tried all kind of ways to add anounchments but the strange thing is I guess that IF i look in the 'Rich Text Editor' and use Design mode everythings looks find. The markup is perfect and IF i go into 'html-mode' I see indeed the html markup codes.

Problem is more that if I look in the 'rendered' version (not the edit version) I see the 'html-mode' version of the announchment. I can only see the markup codes which are not interpreted or something because everything is 1 long text without linebreaks and such.

Anybody else ? I think it is saved correctly in the db.. only the presentation is nog good.
