Greetings.  I know DNN allows permissioning of content on a per module basis which is great.  What I am wondering is the following.  Supposing I am writing content within wysiwyg editor and want certain bits to only be visible to administrators; can content be permission/restricted within the editor.  For example

<ul>
<li>printer one<span class="this only visible to admins"> login: one , password</span></li>

</ul>

Does DNN support this sort of thing where I can restrict content down to specific html tags on same page while on wysiwyg editor ?

im afraid not, typically people create 2 html modules, one visible to admins but not registered users, and one visible to registered users but not admins. There is a limited amount of admin only detail you can output via token replace (http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/tokens) in the html module but it's only tokens and not conditional logic (i.e. if then...). A common way around this is to use the razor host module as you can then do logic - http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/razor

We have delivered this sort of feature to clients in the past by creating a custom html module ... that added macro style markup. Such a module is very easy to create.
