Hi,

I have DNN website on Azure, everythink is works well. I wonder if it possible to register my DNN web app in azure active directory as application and use AAD as identity provider for DNN. My goal is provide single sign on between DNN web app and the other azure applications. Please let me know if it possible.

Best Regards, Marta

Hi Marta,

I've just released an open source Azure Active Directory provider for DNN Platform, available at https://github.com/davidjrh/dnn.azure...

Hope this helps!

Hi David!

Thank you for your sample - this is exactly what I wanted.

I did everything according to your instructions (I have DNNv7.4.1), but I get error in class OAuthLoginBase, in line:  OAuthClient.AuthenticateUser(GetCurrentUser(), PortalSettings, IPAddress, AddCustomProperties, OnUserAuthenticated);. "An exception of type 'System.NullReferenceException' occurred in DotNetNuke.Authentication.Azure.dll but was not handled in user code"

Moreover I don't feel completely how authentication with the use of AAD works in DNN: each user from AAD is created in the DNN membership database? The API you mentioned in your tutorial should have specified structure? Or it may be it's only sample and any standard WEBAPI registered and authorized by AAD will be ok?

I'll be grateful for the explanation of my doubts
