Same problem here. Error doesn't tell us much. I guess I'd just like to know when you can use this -- only on the same DNN install where you have the same modules and skins installed? On different DNN installs?

It would be nice to have a way to move portals right?

I have a fix!  (At least for my template)  I downloaded the source and ran it through the debugger.  The problem seems related to folders in the portal directory.  It looks like when DNN creates a "folder" record in the DB, it creates it as "graphics/", but when it goes to add a file record in the DB, it queries the DB for the "folder" record, and queries it as "graphics//", thus it can't find it.  So, for the fix, I removed the trailing slashes on my <folderpath></folderpath> elements in the template file, and it worked!

Hopefully this works for others.

Search the template file for "/</folderpath" and replace with "</folderpath"

On changing these I found it still failed.  I then noticed that the service fee and free trial fees were showing a value of -3.40282347E+38.  I changed these to zero and the portal created.
