Am a user of dnn (not a developer) and have admin rights. Our provider who has set up our sites runs 6.2.2. I don't have access to the setup files, how do I put a login and logout link on our dnn site. I am putting a passwrod protected page onto the site, and figured out how to do this (thanks to other forum members) it would be more elegant to have a login link on the home page, and of course a logout link, otherwise the user has to close their browser. Our provider is going to 7.4 'later'. And yes we are stuck with it unfortunately.

Hi Rick,

To do this properly you would have to edit the skin file of your site and add the login skinobject.

A very simple way is to add a login link in a text/html (href="/login.aspx") but that won't allow users to logout though.

But the best way is to edit your skin file as said above.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Geoff.
