DNN 8 has a number of breaking changes, especially Telerik components were moved to a different namespace.
You would need to adjust the reference in source code of the module and recompile.

Thank you for answering, can you explain in lawman terms on "adjusting the reference" (what reference should be adjusted, there are loads of them). Thanks for responding.

if you open source code of the module, you will get a warning about telerik references to libraries not being resolved. you Need to adjust the paths to make sure, the module can be compiled for DNN8.
