Hello Comunity,

i have DNN 7.4.1. installed and i have a strange behavior:

I installed a theme from the store an it includes the dnn:search object and i´m running the site in multi-language mode (EN + DE->German ;) )

If i load the page in German the search input fields shows "Search..." instead of "Suchen..." BUT if i klick into the search field it will display the right german term "Suchen..." until i start typing.

I looked in the HTML-code and the placeholder-attribute gut the right "Suchen..." term in it.

Is that a known issue?

Best regards Björn from Inch-Media

Björn,
most likely this is an issue of the skinner, open the skin file and search for dnn:search token. make sure, no search button text is included (simply remove the property).

Cheers from Germany,

You probably should be asking the vendor here. Else any later version will likely revert any changes you make.

Best wishes,
