Our Intranet site was built on DNN 4.9.1.  We recently rebuilt the site from scratch using 7.0.1.  Our page urls in the old environment all ended in '/tabid/206/Default.aspx', new pages just have the folder location.

My issue - Our HR team has email stationary with an old url path hard coded into the email body for users to click and get redirected, but the path is no longer valid.  I had them update the path so new communications will direct recipients to the correct page.  However, If people access the older emails the included link no longer works.  I am wondering if there's a way I can create a page using the old url format so if people click on the link in those old emails they will go to a valid page.

One thing I tried was to create a new page that would redirect people to the intended page, and in this I added a custom url using the old path, but this doesn't seem to work.  The custom url keeps dropping the '.aspx' at the end, so when users click on the old link it doesn't bring them to the page.  They could manually copy the old link and get rid of the '.aspx' and it will work for them.

Am I making any sense here, and am what I'm trying to do possible?

if you'd upgraded the site, you would still have the same tabids for the pages and redirect would work automatically, but I expect new pages have new IDs and the ID redirection will fail, sorry.
