Hello,

I am using Evoq Content Enterprise, 07.03.04 (45), using the EasyDNN News module.  I am having an issue where certain pages that pull content from the module ( but not all ) will not show new content until you do a Tools > Clear Cache.

Both pages that work correctly and pages that do not, appear to have the same page > module > cache settings, though some display a pink box with Inherited, and some do not.  Where is it inherited from?

Also, we are using Output Cache Provider > Memory > 0.   There is a Yellow Boxed warning that the module prefers to run with Output Cache Provider > None, but when I make that change, the system reverts the settings back to Output Cache Provider > Memory > 0.

Any help would be appreciated.

most likely, this is not caused by module output cache but by internal object cache (which is cleared when choosing "clear cache" in Control Panel).
This needs to be fixed by the module developer.

Hi,
I get the same problem (the module is the latest form and list). What can we do to avoid the OCP to be reset to memory? It is quite a serious problem and migrating to another form in my case is a lot of work (a few complex and long forms).
I am on dnn 8.0.3

if cache duration is 0, the cache provider is ignored.

Despite that, i still observe this behaviour: https://github.com/DNNCommunity/DNN.F...
The thing is, the page is virtually not displayed, due to the form exceptionn all other modules just display the title and an empty content. Not good for visitors, I need a solution. AFAIK, it was ok on dnn7 and I do not that problem.
One thing I have noticed is that it happens when the site comes back from sleeping (I mean, it's not kept alive yet). Perhaps keeping it permanently alive will 'mask' the issue. Still, something wrong underneath.
