Hi,

I forgot to run the script TurboUnSchema742.sql before upgrading to 7.4.2.

I do not want the restore the database and I do not have a copy of the previous site.

I ran the script TurboUnSchema742.sql

I have deleted the version 7.4.2 from table version.

But everytime I am running the UpgradeWizard.aspx, I got the message that says that the is no upgrade to perform. In the host settings, it stick to 7.4.1.

Any clue on what settings to set to trigger the upgrade wizard to redo the upgrade to 7.4.2 without rolling back the database?

Thanks for any help.

I don't know the answer to your question.

I think what you want to do is an unsupported, risky and probably untested scenario. Here is an example - if the upgrade script attempts to create a new column it will already be present in your database. That will not be an condition the script expects to meet.

Sebastian may have a better view, but I'd guess that if the upgrade managed to succeed it's probably safest to just continue and move forward.

Best wishes,

Stephan,
running TurboUnSchema is a precaution, because TurboSchema prevents some of the tables from being modified.
It the upgrade doesn't issue an error message like a column not being created, no bound table is affected, and you don't need to worry.
You may verify by checking upgrade log file /providers/dataproviders/sqldataprovider/07.04.02.log.resources.
If there is an error logged, you may run TurboUnSchema.sql, /providers/dataproviders/sqldataprovider/07.04.02.sqldataprovider, TurboDNN and finally TurboSchema.
You shouldn't modify version table manually.

PS: always make sure to use latest versions of the scripts, available at https://dnnscript.codeplex.com
PPS: please always start upgrades with a backup of all files and the database!

The upgrade to 7.4.2 did not not give any warning or errors. I have a test site and a live site. I then upgrade the test site first and the upgrade went trough. I did not realise that the version in host settings did not change and upgrade the live site. Now everytime I loh has host, the upgrade sign appear in the corner.

I have stranges behaviors also. When I upload a picture in an HTML module or on the site, it looks that the picture disapear or get corrupted after a moment. When I do the design the , the picture is there, but the next day, it is gone or corrupted.

I installed a new skin from DNNGO and decide to change the logo on the site. I was able to change the picture and displayed correctly. The next day, no logo visible on the site, The upload button. dropdown control and drop file hear control do not work anymore. Same problem with the background and favicon.

Thanks for the answers.
