Resource files are not saved

Hello,
I have a problem: in some cases, the resource files for localization are not saved. It does a very short postback, but the file remains the same. For example, I tried to change PasswordResetFailed_UserUndefined.Text in SharedResources.it-IT.resx but the only way I can do it, is to manually edit the file with notepad.

Any ideas?

which DNN version and browser are you using?
I noticed the same with a site recently DNN 7.4.2

I'm using DNN 7.2 and the browser is Google Chrome v. 46.0.2490.71 and even FireFox has the same issue.

Hello Sebastian,
you are right, the version is 7.4.2. But this issue is not related to this version. I noticed this behaviour also with previous releases. It seems more likely related to the resource file. In fact I have localhost environment and production environment, both with the same version. Localhost works, production not. The strangeness is that the resource file (italian) are different... perhaps some special characters....
