Hello,

We are studying to use DNN for our intranet.

So, we are about to choose between DNN and other CMS. I've already find some features/plugins we need but I would like a help on some features bellow. I really looked but I didn't find. I would like to know if those features exists or I need to develop them.

Any help appreciated!
  • Help desk system per department;
  • Query builder: For example, I have a view or procedure. I would like to use this view, define which fields to be showed, sort and summarize in a report. I also need to export to Excel this report. Which means, this kind of feature allows me to construct reports by demand, using no C# programming, only SQL statements.
  • How have I have access for users log?

Fernando,

A help desk system doesn't exist in DNN out of the box. That is something that you will either need to build, purchase from the DNN Store, or get a 3rd party module developer to create for you.

If you are the Host user (SuperUser) you can simply go to HOST > ADVANCED > SQL and execute queries on the database from that page. You can also export the results to various formats. 

I'm not sure what you mean by the 3rd question about the user's log. If you want to see a list of users just go to ADMIN > USER ACCOUNTS and you should be able to see the list of users there.
