Is there a way to utilize tokens or somesuch in HTML modules to dynamically link to documents? i.e. A content editor wants to create a link to an uploaded PDF within text. (The document already exists in the site directory structure.) Currently, if you just utilize a link to the PDF as given by something like the Digital Asset Management module, you can move the document and the link remains valid, but if you rename the document, the link gets broken. Is there a way to create a link that is independent of location/filename? tied only to document id?

Is there another module that might enable this sort of thing within HTML modules?

Thank you for any assistance with this.

DNN does include TokenReplace engine, but only for site, page, module and user properties.

Well I wish it was that easy.  The container, site settings, has a container that does show the title.  I know that for two reasons:

1.)  I checked.

2.)  When I go into the module on a secondary page, the title field itself is EMPTY!  When I fill it in, it shows whatever I type in.  I can type something else in and it will show it.

It seems to me like this is not working properly, even though I know I used it before in earlier versions.

in this case, there might be some CSS hiding the title? Try using the Developer Tools built into your browser to inspect the source code of the downloaded page (including CSS)

Thank you, by the way, Sebastian, for the answer re: tokens.
