Hi,

I seem to have a problem with  my menu on www.jurgenvantilburg.nl . on most remote computers it does not show up.

If it does not show up, users can't log in as wel.

I think it has something to do with the security settings in for example Internet Explorer.

Does anyone have a solution without changing as little in the internet security settings?: can it be the IIS settings? is my skin poor?

i'm running dnn 3.3.2 on XP

i see your menu just fine, but i have rather loose sec. settings in IE. The problem might be related to the fact that you are running dnn in a frame.. that might cause issues with cookies and such. You'd better change your domain registration to have your dns really point to your ip.....

cheers,

Erik

HI Eric.

Thanks, it worked. I changed dns from forewarding to standard. The only issue i have now is that i have my ip-adress visible in the adress-bar. for this time i can live with this.

Still i had to change sec settings to trusted site. is there enay other way you know of?

thanks

afaik there are no client side security issues with solpart menu, so maybe you have a less than standard setup. I'm not sure what impact running iis from XP has, there might be some security issues there
