Hello,

I wanted to ask: When a social group is created, a group journal entry is made indicating that the group has been created. Shouldn't a journal entry be made when someone joins or leaves the group too and in addition, a notification sent to all members of the group that a new member has joined or a member left?

I had some issues with my groups and corrupt table entries and see the notification types in the table and wanted to be sure I was getting the right behavior.

Thanks.

by default, in Social Groups module in DNN Platform, no journal item is created, when a user is added or removed.
AFAIK, there is no option for group members to subscribe to group journal, to get notified about new posts.

You may suggest these enhancement in Community > Ideas on this site.

Cheers from Germany,
