I am an administrator of a DNN server but have no experience with DNN and am tasked with fixing an issue with the server that I have no clue where to start.  All I can really say for certain is that we're running version 4.4.2 (216).

Yesterday, we had a user make a new webpage which sent the server into a 3 hour "unavailable" state, this "unavailable" state is an ongoing issue for my organization and the developer house that we are working with also seem to be clueless about how to resolve it, but this is not the issue I'm here for.

The issue is that after the "unavailable" state cleared up my Log Viewer and Database are filling up with Host Alert entries.  The developer's "solution" is to do what the message says and turn off the alerts, which in our opinion is ignoring that we have a problem, and they also think that our site might be hacked, which I'm also not convinced since we are essentially "nobody" to want to hack.

So the message that I'm getting is the following... Note anything in [BRACKETS] are the same values only hidden for the sake of protecting identifying data.

Advanced Friendly URL Provider Duplicate URL Warni:Page Naming Conflict

Duplicate Page Details:Page naming conflict. Url of (www.wesleymoraes.com/site/fotos/programs/[EVENT]/home/) resolves to two separate pages (home [//programs//[EVENT]//home] [tabid = [#####]], Law Day [//[MYSITE]//AdminMenuItems//[EVENT]] [tabid = [#####]]). Only the second page will be shown for the url.

Warning Information:PLEASE NOTE : this is an information message only, this message does not affect site operations in any way.

Suggested Action:Rename one or both of the pages to ensure a unique URL

Hide this message:To stop this message from appearing in the log, uncheck the option for 'Produce an Exception in the Site Log if two pages have the same name/path?' in the Advanced Url Rewriting settings.

Thread Id:45

Server Name: [MYSERVER]

In the section for Duplicate Page Detail we are seeing multiple websites that are not ours where the www.wesleymoraes.com is, such as  zz.qq.com, and www.tekrevue.com/xbox-one-component-cost-90-higher-ps4-thanks-mostly-kinect.  These are obviously not our pages and we have no clue why our DNN is finding or flagging duplicate URL warnings against them.  When I go to these provided URLs they are all blank.

Any ideas about what might be going on or what to do to resolve it?  To me it sounds like there is something wrong with the indexing service, but it doesn't mean that the developer isn't correct that we might have been hacked.  Its just that we don't have anyone in-house with enough DNN knowledge to know where log files even are to look at them, and the developer isn't providing us with much confidence that they know how to resolve the issue.

Are you sure, you are running the very old version 4.4.2 and not 7.4.2?

I experienced this same issue a while ago.

If I remember correctly I just went to one of the pages and either renamed it or deleted it.  I think I may have used a tabid to get to the page using domain.com/tabid/#.    If I am not mistaken you can't get to both these pages in the error via a friendly name...

You might be seeing the other url's because your site wasn't built as a fresh install.  It may be that your site was built from a restored db of another project to speed up development time.  That would be my best guess anyhow...
