Since all of the navigation providers were removed for dnn 8, is there a work-around for those who have skins using these providers?

It depends on the navigation provider.  Realistically, you should convert your skin to use the DDRMenu navigation provider since that is the only supported DNN menu.

Thanks Joe, I was afraid of that. My skin is a third party skin so I cannot update it to work with the DDRMenu.

Well if the vendor won't do it you have little to lose. You probably can update it as it's likely to be just an ascx file.

Joe write some posts about skinning (http://www.theaccidentalgeek.com/post...).

There is documentation on the wiki on how to use DDR Menu. For a simple conversion there is almost no work in it. http://www.dnnsoftware.com/wiki/ddrmenu

Thanks Rich, that's great to know.... but still doesn't help. It's not a switch this and that type of fix because now the menu loses the look and functionality that I worked hard to get. My site has three different types of menus. The Main Nav, a mobile menu and some pages have a side menu on the page.
