I have made an update of DNN 06.02.09 to 07.04.02. There were no errors.

  • Some of the options in the Controlbar are not working. Clear cache, recycle application domain, adding new modules and the edit page layout, edit settings. The links in admin and host are working fine.

  • When moving a module to another pane it looks okay but after a page refresh it’s on the old position again.

Changing the skin to Gravity didn’t help.

Any ideas what going wrong?

Met vriendelijke groet, Han Peper

I did clear the browser cache and even used another browser. But now after one day it is working. Thanks.

there also might have been an issue upgrading web.config to .Net 4. You may apply the migration script (in install/config folder), using Configuration Manager in Host menu.
Another option would be comparing your web.config with the one included in DNN 7 install package.
sometimes it also needs to clear outdated files manually from /bin and /app_code folders
