I have six DNN 7 sites all backed up in one go, no other site had these weird files. Can someone explain this? Even the file extensions are strange and moreover they were locked, like being locked as in being used, someone seems to have it open in another program.

files in \App_Data\Search are from DNN site search index (created by Lucene). You may exclude it from backup and use "regenerate index" in DNN Search Administration, after you had to restore a backup.
