How about a branch within DNN.Faq called "Wiki images" that had an "Images" folder in it. Would I be able to store images in there? If so, I could use those links, like this one for images:

A branch is just a temporary element with a set of changes. In a normal git workflow branches are merged into the main stream, e.g. named master or development. The wiki.images would be a folder within the repo, added by a pull request.
