If you are trying to install DNN 4.x on a Windows 2003 server and you did everything right, read the installation manual 20 times and still getting "Page Not Found' error then try this, it might help:

Go to IIS 6.0 and expand "Web Services Extensions" on the left hand side and make sure that "ASP.NET 2.0.xx" status is set to ALLOWED.

Hi, I have a similar problem, but it's very strange. After the successfully installation if I click on Login or Register I always get The page cannot be found. Try itself: http://wl21www608.webland.ch/

Was it similar at your installation or did you get the error during the installation? Thanks, Christopher

Do you have the defaults.aspx in the documents tab in the IIS website ?

Hi, yes of course I have. I also posted some Informations on another thread:

Do you have any ideas why I always get the 404 errors? I work in the development with VS.NET since 4 years, but I still didn't hear about such a strange problem. Thanks for you help, Christopher
