Build the DotNetNuke.Forum.Library project first, those references are from there.

Hi , Juvander.  I built it then it generates DotNetNuke.Forum.Library.dll. Now more errors come up.

See the project references and add missing DNN core assemblies into top level bin -folder from your DNN installation. That should fix those.

Hi, Juvander, yes, I add those DLLs again. Finnally,  everything is working .

Thank you very much!

By the way,  which file is listing topcis of the forum?  like this

http://www.dnnsoftware.com/forums/forumid/108/scope/threads

It lists the threads/topcis of forum #108.

As this topic started, I want to make a small module that displays topics table only. There are too many files in project. I think that might spend me couple months to learn it well.

Similiar with Active Forum's "WHAT'SNEW", it can be setting to subscribe certain forums then display thier topics. Or I can add this module to a part of a page, just display some newest threads .  For example, there are 4 parts of a page, part#1 display forum1's top 10 newest topics, part#1 displays forum#2's top 10 newest topics...etc..then CSS wouldn't make it work.

Appreciate  your help.

As I am neither the original developer of this module, I usually inspect the forum source in browser, find one control and its properties. With this information I then do a find in forum files to find the correct place where view is being prepared.
There are indeed a lots of files in the project, but with this approach I have managed to dig into it.
