Hi,

Ran the upgrade and no errors. My custom developed modules now do not display though. Cant find any error message. They just don't display. If I try to add one to a page then nothing appears?? I developed the modules using the template for visual studio. I tried rebuilding the module in visual studio 2015 but still nothing renders.

Any help or advice appreciated.

Did you big-bang the upgrade, or do it by stages?

I've had enough trouble with upgrades in the past that I would have upgraded from 7.0.6 to 7.1.0 and run for a few days, then to 7.2.0, then to 7.3.0, then 7.4.0 then 7.4.2 then 8.0.x

Each time I would be checking for problems.

Each major version upgrade potentially introduces issues for externally developed modules, and I have lots that I've developed too. Upgrading step by step allows you to identify which upgrade breaks the modules, and makes it much easier to work out what changes may be required to get them working again.
