Hello! I'm new to DNN and recently took over site development for a company. One thing I'm stumped on is how to edit the HTML for the top user bar (the smaller, static nav bar at the very top of the site). I need to add 2 links, which I can do using the DOM editor, but of course, need these to be permanent.

Because I was not involved in the original development of the site, I'm having trouble figuring out how to edit this (I've only found css and js files).

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

most likely, this is part of the skin applied to the site. In Admin > Site Settings you should find the folder name and name of the Skin, which is located in /portals/_default/skin or /portals/[portalid]/skin folder. you would need to edit [Skinname].aspx file, which is an HTML file for server preprocessing.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
