prior to upgrading to dnn 8, I used to be able to access a subdomain running a different application. after the upgrade I can no longer do so.

with domain.com I could access the dnn site as www.domain.com; with advertising.domain.com, I could access another site (banmanpro).

is dnn intercepting calls to *.domain.com and doing something to reject advertising.domain.com? is there anything I can configure to make this configuration work again? I do believe that dnn 8 is the cause of the breakdown.

the environment is iis 7.5/windows server 2008

although I haven't isolated the problem, I have been able to remove dnn 8 as a suspect at least for the present.
