Hi, one of our associates who has a parent portal on our community dnn install wants to get 2 further domain names and point them to specific tabs on his portal.

1. What is the best method for doing this without affecting SEO or any other Parent portals on the site,

2. Is this a good idea or should we avoid it and if yes why?

Cheers in advance

the easiest would be adding IIS websites with a Redirect URL. This would not affect SEO.

Thanks, a good idea that would work very well.

One other thought, what if we wanted to show the incoming domain name in the tab as well?

in this case you would need to create child sites for these domains - however, I wouldn't do it - either duplicate content or redirect.
