Hi All,

I am using DNN 04.06.02

I want to redirect a page that does not exist in site.

http://www.example.com/test (does not exist)    to    http://www.example.com/ask/app.aspx

Is there any way in DNN through web.config or siteurls.config?

I have tried through siteurls.config but not working.

Regards,

ST

The basic approach is that the page *should* exist in the site and then specifies itself as a redirect.

So stage 1 is to get the site to respond to http://www.example.com/test

Then, stage 2, in Page Settings, under Link Url, set the link type to 'A page on your site' and choose the page to redirect to. I'm on DNN7 so there may be detail differences for you.

BTW it's pretty risky to be back on Dnn 4. There have been many security fixes since then and lots of functionality improvements. You really ought to upgrade.

Best wishes,
