Hello all,

I'm in the process of putting up a personal site using DNN.  I'm thinking for blogging needs to use the Dig Article module from DigNuke (since it's got a bunch of features that the official DNNBlog module seems to be missing), using form and list for general pages (some of the pages on my site link to other sites and projects that my friends and I run, (would links or form and list be better for displaying links and descriptions of other destinations?) and then HTML for basic stuff as well. Am I missing anything serious or obvious here? Can anyone more knowledgeable than I jump in with pointers? I'm looking for all suggestions no matter how seemingly trivial they are. Thanks!

Form&List has a powerful XSL based template engine, that opens many options, although XSL might be a challenge.
Even with Reports you may create nice views, basing on date from Form&List or Links (as you like).

Recommendations for modules require to get to know the precise use cases, you are going to address in your Website.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold

This one, at least, basically amounts to a blog, for the most part ... in fact, that's the primary use, with a couple of links to other pages/sites. It's my personal blog, basically. In that case, would you recommend a paid blog module, or do you think that DNNBlog is good enough from your experience? Just realized that DigNuke has lots in the social space, which sounds a lot like my other site, which is my social tech/project/message board.

please compare the Features, it might be worth checking out DNN Blog as well.
A number of 3rd Party Article modules do have a blog mode as well.

That's what I'm currently in the process of doing. It's going to be interesting, for if DNNBlog doesn't have the auto-post to Twitter and auto-post to facebook, then I'll have to bring a third-party service into the mix, for I don't know visual basic at all.
