Hello all,

I've noticed an issue in the back-end control panel of DNN; when switching to edit mode, I'm unable      to find the "edit content" option because when I try to, while I do get a response from my browser (I'm a blind user trying to use the keyboard to navigate the system, so can't use a mouse to access anything) nothing shows up; no menu pops up or anything like that in order for me to select an option. all it does is refreshes the page and just sits there (or from what I can see ... never have walked through what's happening with a sighted user yet). Also, while on the subject, half of the back-end content is not displayed (to screen readers, anyway), properly as links, but thankfully, most of it is clickable using keyboard events. but a non technical blind computer user would probably not figure that out, but the biggest problem this causes is that I'm unable to edit the content of modules placed on pages. I can edit the page itself by going to pages, finding the page I want to edit, and then editing the properties, but I have not found anything like that for modules. Any suggestions? I'll even join the testing folks if I can help at all with a more strong focus on accessibility standards in DNN, so keep that in mind also.

I think I have figured out the heart of the issue; it's two-fold. First of all, the actions menus for both the page and the module are not clearly labeled (or at least not with labels that screen readers can see), and then there's the mouse-over elements. Screen readers don't do well with those. Is there some kind of skin I can place on the site that makes it so that mouse-over is no longer required? I'd have to get the exact way that at least JAWS for windows reads this stuff, but now you have an idea of what I'm talking about. So, what is on the screen to a sighted person is not what the blind person navigating via text to speech hears.
