The Latest version of our open source Friendly Url Provider is available

This version introduces a new engine to process urls included in the Http Response html, in addition to those generated by the traditional DNN Friendly Url provider API.

It allows to support static Urls included in Articles or Html modules, and by means of additional url providers, it now supports non page urls such as DNN file system "linkclick" urls, or resized Ventrian Newsarticle thumbnail urls, injecting the thumbnail dimensions into the original file name, with corresponding sample rules provided by default.

Highlights

  • New: Html Filter strategies can process any html link, with sample rules and providers to process dnn files and resized ventrian newsarticle thumbnails
  • Improved: Real urls can be compared with a custom comparer to optionally account for variations
  • Improved: Real and Friendly url size increased to 2000 chars
  • Fixed: Popup urls properly accounted for
  • Fixed: Dynamic Regex in Variable groups and hack parameters: "KEYFIELD" string replacements in admin modules supported again
