We get this issue, but only with Composite Files enabled. We're running a 4-server web farm (not a garden), and these issues pile up as soon as we enabled composite files, no idea why.

Did anyone ever figure this out?

I have one portal on one instance that is doing this. With composite files enabled the site runs very slowly (20 second+ page loads) and with it disabled, it runs ok, but I can see loads of this same error.

Other portals on the same instance and other instances on the same server are all fine. They're all DNN 8.0.4
