I have ssrs reports accessing the sitelog table on a monthly basis for different business units within the company. The report ran for last month and there is no data. I notice the site log module was removed from DNN 8 but is there another way of retrieving this data? It is very crucial for these departments to have a log of access.

I added the Site Log module from the DNN Community site but I cannot get that to work and the instructions for "Enabling the Site Log" states "The Site Log is disabled by default and must be enabled and configured by a Super User before it can be used to generate reports."

Unfortunately this offers no help in telling me how to enable it.

When the sitelog module was ripped off the DNN core, a couple of actions were missed, like a UI for the host setting.
Some are described at https://github.com/DNNCommunity/Dnn.S....

Thanks Sebastian. I found that link after I had posted here in the forum. Unfortunately to somebody like me that doesn't know how to build DNN modules that link is useless too. That install package still doesn't contain a UI for the end user to add the settings to the databases.

I got the Portal setting added to the database and the log entries started pouring in. Problem is they don't have the User ID as noted in that github link. I guess my life would be boring if everything worked the way it was supposed to. ;-)
