Hi,

I am using DNN 7.3.4.

I created a multilingual Portal using French (France) and English (US).

I exported the Site Template of the portal and under Advanced Configuration checked all the boxes (Include Content and Include Files were checked).

By default, "Export as a multilingual site" was already checked and "Export pages in selected languages" already had both English and French checked.

Under "Pages to export" all pages were already selected. The template was exported successfully.

However, when I created a new portal on the same DNN instance using "Add New Site" and selecting the template there were issues:

  1. The "Add site" dialog  asks for only one Site Alias even though this is a multi-lingual site. I entered the alias I wanted for the English site.
  2. The import took a long time to complete (5 minutes or so)
  3. On completion I could see the new Portal in the Site Management table, but no Portal Aliases had been assigned.
  4. I clicked the pencil icon to "Edit this site" and was able to add the portal aliases and assign the correct language to each.
  5. The site rendered in English only and the language selector did not appear.
  6. Under Admin/Languages, I could see that French was not Enabled.  I checked the Enable box.  The table showed no French content.
  7. In the Site Management table, the number of pages for the new portal is 52. The original portal shows 126.
  8. I can still access the Portal Settings from the Site Management table when logged in to another portal.
  9. I tried to login to the new portal and got "DNN Error - Object reference not set to an instance of an object".  Now the portal doesn't render at all in that browser and all pages give this same error message.
  10. In a separate browser (I was using Firefox and switched to Chrome), the new portal was still working. I could switch between pages no problem. I tried to login in Chrome and got the same error. Now I cannot access any pages in chrome either.
