Version 7.3.4 (pretty sure)

Sites run but cannot log in with Custom Errors "On"; get message to turn Custom Errors "Off"

With Custom Errors "Off" I get the following message for all sites/urls/portals on the instance when simply connecting:

Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider

Number: 1105

There are over 10,000 entries in the Event Log table (I can see the db).

I think that you need to fix the problem with the database before you will be able to clean up the Event Log table.

Is this hosted or self-hosted? If the former, your hosting provider should be able to handle this (what needs to be done is listed in the error message). If you are self-hosting, you are going to need to either make room on the disk or configure the database for automatic growth.

Thanks!!

Solved.  Once db 'released' of the constraint I could log in and clean out logs and reduce logging.
