I want to add a function that transfer 3rd party data to register new user.

For example, users can login from Facebook profile, how to do so?

I go through all souces file, can not locate the souce file for register new user.

Thanks for any help.

you would use an authentication provider, there used to be auth providers for facebook, liveid, twitter and active directory.
They might no longer ship with DNN 8, but should be available on github or codeplex.

 I do see Windows Live authentication under desktopmudle, but seems not working

you might Need to enable it in admin > Extensions, section Authentication
