Has anyone else run into problems using double quotes in page titles?  If I use them, I cannot get into the editor when I click Edit Content  It doesn't respond. When I try to access the page settings, I get a 404 error.  I can update the page title from the page manager where I can remove them then it works as it should.   Thanks!

Embedded double quotes need to be escaped (usually doubled, otherwise with \"). We don't have a solution if you have some variable value that may or may not contain double quotes.

I was just wondering if this was a known "random undocumented feature."  Of course they can be handled by someone who knows a little about programming, but for the normal content editor, this wouldn't be obvious.  If our company adopts DNN, this will be a constant issue as we have staff coming and going constantly who will need to be trained and this just isn't going to stick in the minds of many of them.

I am using 8.3.  I can create the pages with the double quotes but I can't edit their content, nor can I edit page settings.  If I go through Page Management and change them to single quotes, I can work on the pages.  When I try to edit the page settings from the page I get a 500 error.

I am just using single quotes for now since there are only 2 of us who can access that at this time.

Thanks!

JoAnn
