We have set up several events in the Event Viewer with Email Notification and specified an email address for it. However, we never receive any notifications even when such events occur. We have verified that SMTP settings are correct and we have also tried to manually select some log entries and then choose to have them email to us using "Send log entries" and this works fine.

Any ideas why the automatic notifications do not work?

there is a scheduled task (under Admin :: Schedule) named "Send log notifications" - have you activated this?

Ah, probably not if isn't default activated. Thank you, will try that.

this is not activated by default. So most propably it will be the solution. Let me know if it has worked for you.
