All,

We have hit our hd space limit on our hosting server - windows 2008 R2.  Our installation for DNN is 5.06.01 Community Edition.  Our hosting company now has plans with unlimited pace but the servers are windows 2012 R2.  I know IIS is also newer on 2012 R2.  My questions will there be any compatibility issues trying to move our DNN installation from windows 2008 r2 to windows 1012 R2? Is there a good guide on how to do this?

Thank you,

Rodrigo

I can't remember precisely how it got there but my sites run on Windows 2012.

I think I just copied it all across. Didn't use a special guide. It's certainly moved across a variety of OS's over the years.

Best wishes,

there should be no problem moving your site to the new server - but for DNN 5 you need to make sure your IIS website is running ASP.NET 2 in integrated mode
