We noticed that the change password (force)  functionality is different depending on the DNN version you use:

  1. Sends a mail with reset link to the user (7.1 - 7.2);
  2. No reset mail but directly in website: username, new password, confirm new password (7.3 and up);

Why did DNN change this functionality without letting the community know. It's quite essential functionality!
Or did DNN make a setting so you can choose which option to use? Any documentation?

We are looking for someone in the DNN community who can help us out with the change/reset password functionality.
We need option 1 in DNN 742

Please help?
