I get this error when I add the events module to a page.  I created a new page that doesn't have any other content.

You'll need to upgrade your instance of the Event module

I downloaded it from the DNN Events Module GitHub site. Where would I get a more current version?

I saw there was a new release so I upgraded and that solved my problem.
