There is so many threads that seem to answer my questions, but not all in one spot... If this is on wrong forum thread please advise. 

Hoster A has site running under 7.4.2 - Must move to new  Hoster B- 

I have a file v 7.4.2 backup of Host A; I have a db backup (zip and .bak) of site as well

I have already  ftp files to dev1 subdomain using  7.4.2 on new Host  B with same database - I have a 500 server error!

One Solution is to use nvQuicksite to ?? version on  local machine- get that working, then FTP that to production site on Hoster B

What issues do I face, or should be aware of?  I need specifics- with very little time to accomplish as the lease on Hoster A expires very soon.
