Hi I just did a (test) upgrade from 7.2.1 to 8.0.4. which is working pretty well. However, I noticed some issues with the Admin tools.

First, when trying to create a new page (or in Page Settings) the "Include In Menu" checkbox was not appearing. I found that DNN was looking for the checkbox in the Resources/Shared/stylesheets/images/ folder, whereas in previous versions it was looking in the [toplevel]/images/  folder. So copying the checkbox.png image over to the Resources/Shared/stylesheets/images/ folder fixed it.
Will I need to copy (or move) the entire contents of the images folder to that location? I suppose I will find out as I look around.

More importantly, here's what I'm stuck on now: again when creating a page (or Page Settings) . When I try to set the Parent Page using the dropdown, DNN just spins and spins.  Is this a known issue? Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

Tom

This happens for all dropdowns in the Admin pages.

I'm seeing this error in the Console:

did you unblock downloaded package, prior to unzipping files contained?
Are you running .net 4.5.1 or later?

Hi Sebastian, Thanks for your reply.

I did unblock the package.

However, we're running .NET 4.0 . I didn't realize 4.5.1 was required. Looks like we're behind on the IIS version as well (We're running 6.0) .

Obviously I should have checked the requirements... I'm glad I found this out now, while testing.

Do you know if there is a workaround for running DNN 8.0.4 this way.

And do you know whether that is the cause of the problem with the using the dropdowns in the Admin pages?

Thanks

Tom
