Glad to hear it, thanks.

I have a client that wants to have the same feature in Gallery when they allow users to upload images!

I wonder if the 'report this' could be built as an independent DNN core feature and implemented in modules like ISearchable etc.

I am not opposed to the idea but there are a few things that would need to be thought about if it was a core service:

  • There needs to be some type of email core service too
  • There needs to be some type of online interface to see what was reported
  • There needs to be some way to determine who can 'moderate' other modules (not just admin in many cases)
  • An API needs to be spec'ed out. (So all module needs are considered)
