I have modified my module so much that I feel it is necessary to name it something entirely different. To do this, I copied and renamed the folder to the new name. Next, I went into Visual Studio and replaced all occurrences of the old name with the new name. After this, I replaced all old file names with the new one. Now, when I build the project, Visual Studio complains about the .DNN file being missing. For some reason, it is still looking for the file with the original name. I do not know why this is, as there are no references to this old name anywhere in the project. Could there be some ID or assembly reference that is forcing Visual Studio to look for this nonexistent file? If not, what else could be causing this?

I figured out the problem. For some reason, I missed a reference to the old project name in the solution's .csproj file. Now, it compiles correctly!
