I'm having issues adding a supplementary database into the web.config on our non-production site. Though I tested the Connection String on both my work computer and my laptop (which isn't connected to my work network) and it has worked, when I try a test query in Host > SQL I get the standard error that it can't find the server. Specifics are below:

1) Connection String 

 <add name="SQL2" connectionString="Server=IPaddress\SQLEXPRESS;Database=DB; User ID=xx;Password=pwd;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />

2) Error Message

 provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified
