I am in a similar boat. The upgrade appears fine to normal site visitors but I get 404s on API calls.... What the.... I cannot add modules, browse files, enter edit or layout modes, etc... http://imgur.com/tLZhvL2

It's sad when to be a good user, I need to come in here to see if it's safe to update to "critical updates".

I would concur. DNN 9 is not ready. Nor is DNN 9.1. We are on Evoq Content Basic. Here are the latest two issues that are driving me insane:

Uninstall Extensions
I can't uninstall extensions in DNN 9.0.2 or DNN 9.1. I ensure that the extension/module isn't used on any page and click the trash icon. I choose to delete the files and it says the module deletion is successful. If I scroll back down the list, it is gone. Excellent! HOWEVER...If I close the persona bar and go back to extensions, the modules are there again. AAARGH!

Import/Export
I was so excited for this feature! However, it only sorta works. I can export and import my site...so long as I don't include any assets. When I include assets, the export process simply hangs forever. I've let it run for over 50hrs and it freezes at the same spot no matter how many times I do it. There is no indicator along the bottom that says what file it is currently on, so I can't troubleshoot. Our site has around 3000 files considered Assets by the tool and is about 2GB in size.

I would not recommend that anyone use DNN 9 for anything at this time. If I'm being honest, I wouldn't recommend they use it at all ever.

Edit module is also not working. I get blank page or view unstyled content of module.
I thoguht something went wrong with my upgrade so i did fresh dnn 9 install.
It was working at the start but after about an hour after creating about 10 pages and adding about 10 modules it was not working again.
And "settings" button oo module crashes sometimes with this message:

Error: is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Input string was not in a correct format. ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Modules.ModuleSettingsPage.OnInit(EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

But I do like new admin bar. Which technology was used to create that? Some angularJs or reactJS? And where can i see source code?

I think DNN neeeds to invest more into testing: hire testers and use Selenium to test your DNN test sites!!!!

Edit module error was because of my module's url rewritter error.
