Editing a  News Article in CKEditor , it shows an empty space when you switch from Basic Text Box to Rich Text Editor. Every other area besides that one it shows up fine.

which module are you using? (I guess NewsArticles by Ventrian, but I am only guessing).

Please check if you have installed the latest version. I had a very similar problem with NewsArticles, after installing version 0.9.11 everything went fine.
