You have to click on the 'Validate' button link after you selected the Category / Product on wich to apply the coupon!

Take care, if you select 'Single Use' for the Validity, the coupon can be used by only one order and will be disabled just after the first use. If you plan to offer a coupon to some registrants, you have to select 'Permanent' or 'Until to'. When your coupon is created, you can send the coupon code to your users. They have to enter this code at checkout, if the coupon is valid with your coupon rules the reduction apply to the current order. Otherwise, they will receive an error message.
